Equine assisted learning is a unique experiential learning concept, working with horses to build life skills such as the importance of body language, communication, focus, problem solving, choices and consequences.
Participants engage in a series of obstacles – each with a clear objective – in a fun and positive atmosphere.
All participants need to register before attending a session. To join the group, speak with your Service Specialist, call us on 02 9477 8700.
What to expect at Chill Hooves
• The chance to meet new people and build connections
• Equine Therapy encourages people to support each other, without judgement, by working together to direct a horse through a variety of tasks. You do not ride the horse but guide the horse using body language and movements. You will need to wear enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle and hat.
